PLEASE NOTE: Whole Truffles will often have a little nick , we call this a "canifer". This is a man-made nick done to check the ripeness of the flesh, by the forager. The forager will make a little cut with a special knife called a "canife”, hence the term "canifer".

Tuber Aestivum

Good morning truffle lovers,

We are excited for the week ahead with more excellent quality fresh Australian Black Winter Truffles arriving this morning. As you know, we offer these fresh Black Winter truffles in two tiers, whole truffles and cuts and prices remain steady. The whole truffles are pristine and are perfect for presentation with excellent depth of flavor and marbling. The second tier cuts offer excellent value for the money, with the same excellent flavor, aroma and marbling. If you haven't tried these Australian Black Winter truffles yet, you definitely should before the season is over. The quality is every bit as good as European Black Winter truffles.

We also continue to have excellent availability of fresh Black Summer Truffles from Europe. The quality is fantastic at this point in the season with darker-colored marbling and delicate, woodsy aromatics. Prices are steady this week.

Send us an email for the best pricing.

Kindest regards,
The Sabatino team
