PLEASE NOTE: Whole Truffles will often have a little nick , we call this a "canifer". This is a man-made nick done to check the ripeness of the flesh, by the forager. The forager will make a little cut with a special knife called a "canife”, hence the term "canifer".
FRESH BLACK SUMMER TRUFFLES
Good morning truffle lovers,
This week we are receiving greater quantities of fresh Australian Black Winter Truffles. With the 4th of July holiday this upcoming weekend, be sure to place your orders early as we expect to see strong demand ahead of the holiday weekend. PLEASE NOTE: All orders must be placed by 2PM on Thursday in order to be delivered by the end of the week.
We continue to offer these fresh Black Winter truffles in two tiers, whole truffles and cuts. While the whole truffles are pristine and showing excellent depth of flavor and marbling, our second tier cuts are not to be missed, especially since they offer excellent value for the money. As previously mentioned, these Australian Black Winter truffles are every bit as good as their European counterparts.
In addition to the Black Winter truffles from Australia, we continue to have excellent availability of fresh Black Summer Truffles from Europe. If you've ordered from us in the last few weeks, you know the quality has been fantastic this season with bright, cream-colored marbling and delicate, woodsy aromatics. Prices remain stable this week.Send us an email for the best pricing.
