1 lime, cut into wedges plus 2 lime wheels for garnish
1 tbsp Sabatino Tartufi Truffle & Sea Salt, for glass rims
6 ounces (180ml) tequila blanco
3 ounces (90ml) Cointreau or high-quality Triple Sec (see note)
3 ounces (90ml) fresh lime juice
NOTE: If you don’t have Cointreau or Triple Sec handy, you can substitute 2 oz of fresh orange juice and 1 oz of simple syrup. This will also result in a lower alcohol cocktail.
1. Prep your glassware: Rub one lime wedge around each margarita glass or cocktail glass then rim with Sabatino Tartufi Truffle & Sea salt. Set aside.
2. Combine all ingredients: In a large pitcher or cocktail shaker filled with ice, add 6 oz of tequila blanco, 3 oz of Cointreau or triple sec, and 3 oz of freshly squeezed lime juice and stir to combine.
3. Add fresh ice cubes to prepped glasses, then carefully strain margarita cocktail into each glass and serve.
